Competency Based Assessment System (CBAS) for Project Management

Murray Gough
Director, Best Practice Project Management Pty Ltd

One Day Workshop July 8, 2009

This seminar demonstrates how a CBAS is established in an organisation and what responsibilities and activities are required to assess the performance of project staff.

A CBAS Practitioner’s Manual, based on Australian competency standards in workplace assessment, is customized for staff and is also the basis for an Assessor Training Program. The need for the document is essential to maintain consistency and quality for workplace coaching, assessment and a certification process. Although not provided with this seminar, the key information it provides will be exemplified. Additionally, key performance instruments will be demonstrated.
Structure of the CBAS Program

  • Phase 1: Lead and Coordinate Assessment Systems & Services
